If you haven't experienced Handy Manny yet then I can recommend you do so! First launched by Disney in 2006, this helpful handyman is a great role model for kids of all ages. As a parent I find it refreshing to have a positive character for my young boys to watch. Like all Disney programs for children there is no violence but what I enjoy the most is the fact Manny doesn't use computers. It is good to see a show that teaches the benefits of gaining real world skills and the rewards of having a trade.

It is little surprise then that Winnie the Pooh coloring pages have also became a firm favourite among children, and the sales of Winnie the Pooh coloring pages far outstrips the likes of other Disney characters. It should be noted that the term "Winnie the Pooh coloring pages" is something of a misnomer because currently, the Winnie the Pooh franchise is taken to include all of the characters, such as Tigger, Piglet, Christopher Robin et al.

Free printable coloring pages for kids are a perfect way of engaging them when you don't want them to go and play outside. Apart from that they also let kids to express their creativity through the use of colors. One of the best things about these printable pages is that you can get them for free. You can easily find thousands of pages to choose from on the internet. All you need is a computer and a printer. There are a lot of ways in which you can give your kids the printable coloring sheets. Three Advices of the day!

First:

When a child sits down for a coloring session they should be given free rein to express their own personal concepts, allowing their personality and attitudes to shine through. It is fine to help the child learn how to used coloring tools, but when you step aside and let them apply their own special touch to a coloring page, they'll discover a sense of who they are and it will jump start their appetite for knowledge.

Second:

Since everything a toddler does become an invigorating learning experience, the images should definitely be of things that they recall, if they can name it, the better. Toddlers learn better through visual examples and what better way to do this if not with coloring pages. Hence, you can use coloring books to teach more to the toddlers than just colors, you can do the alphabet or count numbers. The alphabet or numbers can also be big enough for the children to do some coloring on them too.

Third advice:

Coloring pages for girls will allow your little princesses to show their flair and creative powers in many ways. While young they may not make the most beautiful creation and they may not color inside the lines all the time but they will color some amazing things (in their eyes). As they grow older they will begin to desire to color inside the lines and to combine the proper colors to make some truly wonderful pictures that you will be proud to display and may even want to frame.
